Full Time, 40 hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am - 2:30pm
  • Paid tea and coffee break in the morning & afternoon
  • Overtime available on occassion and paid at 1.25x standard rate

We are recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established, family-run business based in Kettering.

Working with stainless steel, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated products to exact customer specifications. Key Responsibilities

  • TIG welding on stainless steel materials
  • Fabricating components and assemblies from engineering drawings
  • Cutting, shaping, assembling and finishing metalwork to required specifications
  • Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
  • Operating fabrication and workshop machinery safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Candidate RequirementsEssential

  • Previous experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator
  • Strong TIG welding experience with stainless steel
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail with a pride in producing high-quality work
  • Commitment to maintaining excellent workmanship and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute within a close-knit team environment
  • Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Relevant welding qualifications or certifications
