Infrastructure Project Manager - Public Transport | East Midlands
Β£550+ per day | Inside Scope | 3 days/week across the East Midlands | Work vehicle provided

We're looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Project Manager to support the delivery of a range of public transport and infrastructure improvement projects across the East Midlands.

This is a practical, site-based role involving regular travel across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Nottingham, with site visits, inspections and meetings with contractors and stakeholders forming a significant part of the role.

The role will involve:

- Delivering infrastructure projects including bus stations, interchanges, bus stops, shelters, passenger facilities, accessibility improvements and associated highways works
- Developing construction/engineering briefs, specifications and scopes of work
- Working directly with contractors, consultants and stakeholders
- Undertaking site inspections and project meetings
- Supporting contract management, project delivery and construction health & safety
- Managing multiple projects and supporting their successful delivery from brief through to completion

Experience within the bus sector isn't essential. Public sector experience would be advantageous, particularly where candidates have worked within structured governance and stakeholder environments.

We're primarily looking for practical, demonstrable project delivery experience rather than a particular qualification route. Qualifications in construction, civil engineering, highways, surveying or project management would be beneficial. PRINCE2, APM or equivalent qualifications are also advantageous.

Key requirements:

Full UK driving licence
Strong infrastructure/project delivery experience
Experience developing specifications, briefs and scopes of work
Contractor and stakeholder management experience
Comfortable travelling extensively across the East Midlands
Package:
Β£550+ per day
Inside Scope
Work vehicle provided
3 days per week travelling across the East Midlands

If you're an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys being hands-on, site-based and involved in delivering projects, I'd be keen to hear from you.
