- We are currently recruiting for a
Stores Operative to join a well-established and prestigious manufacturing company based in West Hull.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and reliable individual to become part of a successful team producing high-quality products for customers across the UK and beyond.
Working within a busy stores and warehouse environment, you will play a key role in ensuring materials and products are accurately received, stored, picked, and despatched to support production and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking goods in and checking deliveries against purchase orders.
- Accurately storing stock and maintaining organised warehouse locations.
- Carrying out regular stock checks and inventory counts.
- Updating stock records and reporting discrepancies.
- Picking components and materials for production requirements.
- Preparing finished goods and customer orders for despatch.
- Packing products securely to ensure safe transportation.
- Loading and unloading deliveries where required.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised stores environment.
- Working closely with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, or stock control environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage stock effectively and keep accurate records.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
- A proactive and team-focused attitude.
- Basic computer skills for stock management systems.
- Forklift Truck licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
