We are currently recruiting for a Roofer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the HU7 area of Hull. This is a hands-on role working as part of the site maintenance team, ensuring roofing systems across the facility are maintained to a high standard and kept safe, secure and weatherproof.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with roofing experience looking for stable, long-term work with consistent daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on industrial and commercial roofing systems
  • Identifying and rectifying roof defects, leaks and weather damage
  • Installing and replacing roofing materials where required
  • Performing routine roof inspections and reporting any issues
  • Working safely at height and adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
  • Maintaining gutters, drainage systems and roof-mounted fixtures
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools
  • Supporting wider site maintenance activities when required
  • Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, safe and organised
  • Completing work to a high standard of quality and workmanship

What We're Looking For

  • Previous roofing experience is essential
  • Experience working on industrial or commercial roofing systems would be advantageous
  • Ability to work safely at height
  • Good practical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • Reliable and hardworking attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence is desirable but not essential
