Timber Machinist
Gloucester | £15.00 per hour | Full Time, 40 Hours
Our client is looking for a reliable Timber Machinist to join their growing manufacturing team in Gloucester. You'll be machining hardwoods and softwoods used in the production of specialist fire door sets.
Full training provided by Weinig engineers on industry-leading woodworking machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced timber machinists or woodworking operatives looking to develop specialist skills within fire door manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine hardwood and softwood components to specification
- Work to strict quality standards and tolerances
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
- Support the wider production team

- 5 Head Weinig Moulder
- Weinig Multi-Rip Saw
- Cross-Cut Machines
- Extraction System
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating timber, woodworking or manufacturing machinery
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and team-focused approach
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Benefits

- Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 5 days of annual leave allocated to the Christmas shutdown period
