Role Profile
Our client, a leading organisation in the Investment Banking sector, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager / Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support their Global Rates Risk technology organisation.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing delivery management, planning, governance, and Agile leadership across a portfolio of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the lead for Rates Risk Technology to coordinate delivery across multiple teams.
Drive alignment of priorities and roadmaps while ensuring clear visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies.
Act as the central point of coordination for the global Rates Risk Agile Release Train, combining traditional project management responsibilities with RTE accountabilities.
Facilitate planning events, manage cross-team dependencies, and support Programme Increment (PI) planning.
Track delivery against objectives and promote continuous improvement across the group.
Produce status reports, maintain project and programme governance, and ensure stakeholders are informed of key milestones, risks, and achievements.
Work closely with technology leads and delivery teams across regions to ensure successful execution of the Rates Risk roadmap.
Skills & Experience:
Strong project management capabilities with excellent planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
Proven experience managing end-to-end software development projects, from initiation through to delivery and post-implementation support.
Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
