We are recruiting Event Bar Staff to support a large-scale hospitality event in St Andrews. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a professional events team, serving guests at a high-profile occasion and gaining valuable experience within a prestigious hospitality setting.
Transport is available, making it easier for candidates travelling from Dundee and surrounding areas to attend. This role requires confident individuals who can remain professional under pressure, work efficiently during busy service periods, and provide an outstanding experience for guests throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional and efficient manner
- Delivering exceptional customer service to guests throughout the event
- Managing drinks orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the bar area
- Restocking bar supplies and ensuring service areas remain fully operational
- Handling payments where required and following cash handling procedures
- Supporting the wider hospitality team to ensure smooth event operations
- Following all licensing, health and safety, and venue procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous bar experience is preferred
- A positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-presented with a friendly and approachable manner
