Are you an experienced Project or Building Surveyor with a passion for delivering high-quality investment and construction projects? Adecco is working in partnership with a respected organisation operating across Herefordshire and Shropshire to recruit a Project Surveyor to join their Asset Management team.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of planned investment projects, managing schemes from procurement and specification through to completion and handover, while ensuring exceptional standards of quality, compliance, health & safety and customer satisfaction.

The Role
As Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a range of planned maintenance and capital investment projects across residential properties. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, working closely with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from pre-tender stage through to completion and final handover.
- Prepare specifications, tender documentation and oversee procurement activities.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditure and contractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, planning requirements and Health & Safety legislation.
- Act as Principal Designer under CDM Regulations where required.
- Carry out site inspections to ensure quality standards and contract compliance.
- Manage external consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Support customer engagement and consultation throughout project delivery.
- Ensure projects achieve performance, budget and customer satisfaction targets.
About You
We're looking for a proactive and technically competent construction professional who can successfully manage multiple projects while building strong relationships with customers, contractors and colleagues.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering construction or property investment projects.
- Strong knowledge of building construction, defects diagnosis and project management.
- Sound understanding of Building Regulations and CDM Regulations 2015.
- Experience managing budgets, contractors and consultant teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to produce clear technical reports and documentation.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Qualifications
- Degree, HND, OND or equivalent qualification in Building, Construction or a related discipline- flexible and can be discussed
