HR Administrator (Maternity Cover - 9 to 12 Months)

Location: Chelmsford

Hours: 8:30-5PM Monday- Friday

Pay: Β£15-Β£19.48ph + Holiday, Pension and Adecco benefits

Start date: Immediately after successful interview

Are you an organised, proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for an HR Administrator to join our clients friendly and supportive HR team of 7, providing essential support to employees across their manufacturing business.

This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll be the first point of contact for HR queries, managing the HR helpdesk and phone lines while delivering a high level of customer service to both employees and managers. You'll support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, inductions, maintaining employee records, generating HR reports, and assisting with updating HR policies and procedures.

We're looking for someone who can work on their own initiative, take a proactive approach to problem-solving, and confidently manage multiple priorities. You'll be comfortable building relationships across the business and providing accurate guidance on HR processes and policies.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous HR administration experience within a busy HR environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday
  • Experience managing employee data and producing HR reports
  • Knowledge of onboarding and offboarding processes
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or currently working towards
  • Excellent communication, organisational and administration skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
