ADE Power Ltd is a leading provider of high-quality power solutions, specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke generators and associated systems. We’re currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to support our welding and fabricating team. This hands-on role will support our workshop and offers a great opportunity if you are looking to start and build your career in an engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist fabricators and welders with preparing product for paint application.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools for grinding and cleaning.
  • Maintain workshop tidiness and safety.
  • Adhere to all site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Requirements

  • Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual tasks and heavy materials.
  • Basic knowledge of workshop tools and health & safety procedures.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and a willingness to learn.
  • Forklift licence or previous experience (preferred but not essential).

Working Hours

The working hours for this position are 40 hours per week, from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday and from 7am to 1pm on Friday. The business is closed for Bank Holidays, we also enjoy a shutdown every Christmas until after the New Year.
