ADE Power Ltd is a leading provider of high-quality power solutions, specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke generators and associated systems. We are looking for a skilled and reliable FLT Driver to support our busy production and yard operations. You will play a key role in keeping materials moving safely and efficiently across site, supporting production teams, and ensuring deliveries are loaded and unloaded in a timely, organised manner. This position is initially offered on a 3‑month fixed‑term basis, with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities

  • Operating FLT trucks ranging from 2T to 7T (counterbalance).
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Feeding materials to production teams to maintain workflow.
  • Moving goods, components and finished products around site.
  • Supervising and coordinating deliveries as required.
  • Completing basic checks and reporting any defects or hazards.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard environment.
  • Following all site health and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid FLT Counterbalance licence.
  • Experience operating several sizes of counterbalance trucks.
  • Previous FLT experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work safely, efficiently and independently.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety.
  • Conscientious, self‑motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Comfortable working at pace to support production demands.

Working Hours

The working hours for this position are 40 hours per week, from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday and from 7am to 1pm on Friday. The business is closed for Bank Holidays, we also enjoy a shutdown every Christmas until after the New Year.
