Employability – Digital Literacy – IT Tutors in Powys covering Machynlleth, Llanwrtyd Wells, Brecon, Kington, Presteign, Builth Wells, Hay‑on‑Wye.
Pay rate: £32 per hour (including holiday pay). Generous benefits package.
Responsibilities- Plan, develop, deliver, evaluate and assess courses and learning programmes in accordance with learner needs and Adult Learning Wales’s Quality Procedures.
- Prepare lesson plans and schemes of work, selecting appropriate learning materials and methods to meet learner needs.
- Support learners by assessing their previous learning experiences and achievements, providing advice and guidance, and ensuring they are aware of progression routes.
- Perform administrative tasks in line with regulations for the funding of Adult Learning Wales.
- Attend tutor meetings, quality briefings, and relevant accreditation/moderation meetings.
- High level of skills and qualification relevant to Employability, Digital Literacy, or IT tutoring.
- Experience of adult education and ability to work independently and within a regional team.
