Join Our Team as an HR Generalist – Work Fully Remote!
Location: Remote | Core hours: 9 AM–6 PM (flexible)
At Escape Velocity, we’re building something amazing – and we’re looking for an HR Generalist to help take care of the team that’s making it all happen! If you love helping people, staying organized, and making things run smoothly behind the scenes, this role is for you.
You’ll work closely with our Director of HR & Leadership, supporting team members across the world with onboarding, payroll, employee support, and more. It’s a great mix of people-first and process-driven work – all in a fully remote, fun, and flexible team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Welcome new hires: Manage the onboarding process, run orientations, and support them as they settle in
- Keep records in order: Handle employee files, changes, and terminations with accuracy
- Use HR software (HRIS) to update job roles, track changes, and keep everything up to date
- Help with payroll: Do timecard audits, solve discrepancies, and ensure payroll runs on time
- Create reports: Track PTO, census updates, and other HR data
- Support employee programs: Assist with wellness programs, communications, and event planning
- Respond to daily HR questions and help employees find answers fast
- Maintain professionalism, especially with sensitive or confidential matters
- Stay flexible and jump in on special projects as needed
