What You'll Do
- The Team Leader provides comprehensive operational support and contributes to the strategic growth of the Real Estate sub-team.
- You will manage a defined group of Paralegals or Apprentices aligned to one of the Firm’s clients or practice groups.
Work Allocation & Operational Management
- Allocate resources to client instructions and manage team capacity.
- Oversee efficient delivery and quality of work, including training and development.
- Maintain quality assurance processes.
- Scope and manage significant fee earning projects.
- Report on daily and weekly team operations.
Line Management
- Lead a team of Apprentices, Paralegals, and Senior Paralegals.
- Manage individual and team development plans.
- Coach, motivate, and provide regular feedback.
- Work with the Leadership Team on performance management and resourcing.
Team Growth
- Develop aligned groups and promote new business opportunities.
- Engage with fee earners and partners.
- Contribute to the development of the sub-team and wider TST.
- Analyse and improve ways of working.
Who We're Looking For:
Applicants must have experience in Real Estate legal work or supervision/people management. Understanding of Land Registry and SDLT processes is desirable, with training provided as needed. Strong communication, team management, and multitasking skills are essential.
