Below is an overview of the main responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):

  • Create and deliver impactful multimedia assets, including web and social media graphics, videos, audio content (e.g. podcasts), and animations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the brief, while keeping colleagues and stakeholders informed of timelines and progress.
  • Produce and edit high-quality video content that aligns with our brand standards.
  • Create and edit audio files for use across various platforms, such as websites, social media, and podcast channels.
  • Develop animations for use across multiple digital channels.
  • Advise lawyers, marketers, and business development professionals on the most effective ways to communicate messages using multimedia content.
  • Ensure all design materials adhere to our brand guidelines, acting as a brand guardian for the firm.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and digital team to action design requests efficiently and maintain organised design files and project documentation.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year of experience in multimedia design or a related field, demonstrated through a strong portfolio.
  • Ideally, some experience in a professional business or office-based environment would be helpful.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro). Please note, we operate in a PC-based environment.
  • Experience using video and audio editing software and hosting platforms (e.g., Vimeo, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Acast) as well as recording equipment such as basic video cameras and microphones.
  • Knowledge of video and animation techniques (e.g., 2D/3D animation), as well as video editing and post-production practices.
  • Experience of using AI tools to create digital assets would be highly beneficial.
  • A basic understanding of UI/UX principles and how they apply to multimedia design.
  • Excellent client service skills and the ability to adapt communication styles when working with senior stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset and a strong desire to learn and grow within the team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output.
  • A strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and branding, with the ability to work within brand guidelines.
