Our Costs Team sits within the Disputes Group, providing specialist legal advice on costs matters across a range of practice areas, including Commercial, Finance, Real Estate, Construction, Insolvency, and Intellectual Property Disputes. You’ll work with a team recognised for its technical expertise and innovative approach, supporting high-profile clients on complex, multi-jurisdictional cases. This role can be open to either Leeds or Manchester based candidates.

What You’ll Do

  • Advise on costs issues across a variety of disputes, working closely with fee‑earners and senior team members.
  • Draft bills of costs, points of dispute, points of reply, and assist with hearings.
  • Support the team in settlements, including preparing strategic advice on settlement parameters.
  • Assist with all aspects of costs management, including drafting budgets and monitoring legal spend.
  • Prepare N260 schedules for summary assessments and support with payment on account and arbitration schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procedural rules and regulations.
  • Help deliver high-quality, commercially focused solutions for our clients.
