This role sits within the Marketing and Business Development team, whose focus is on helping our expert Partners and other lawyers to win business and deliver an excellent client service. We are ambitious to demonstrate the firm's premium quality and imaginative approach, and so are investing in our marketing activities. What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the running of in-person events at our offices and external venues. This will vary based on size and type of event, including liaising with venues and/or our reservations team, liaising with internal clients on details, attending site visits, producing invites and collateral, arranging merchandise and branding in line with our brand guidelines, supporting the event on the day.
- Responsible for the management of live webinars, including setting up webinars, running rehearsals, approval of event registrants, running polls and surveys during events, helping presenters with running slide shows during events, feeding questions from the audience through to event speakers, and circulation of registration and attendee reports to the internal team.
- You will not be required to be on screen during live events, but you will need to provide behind-the-scenes support to event organisers, hosts and presenters.
- Post-event data management for online and in-person events, in accordance with GDPR.
- Collation of post-event feedback; including evaluation and analysis of what worked well and what didn't, both for webinars and other events.
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the events team inbox and maintaining and updating the firm's internal and external events calendar.
- Highlighting to the firm's Management team if we have scheduling conflicts with our events, or if we are running too many events in a short space of time.
- Keeping internal clients informed of progress in terms of event planning and delivery.
Who We're Looking For:
You will receive technical skills training on all aspects of Addleshaw Goddard's events technologies and processes. However, we would expect successful candidates to have the following skills, experience, competencies and approach:
- Must have a minimum of one to two years' experience working in events, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Must be highly organised, approachable, have a very high attention to detail and be highly organised.
- Must have the ability to communicate with senior clients and colleagues in a calm, professional and friendly manner.
- Highly computer literate with a proven ability to pick up and use new systems or software, ideally including experience of Microsoft Office software.
- Previous experience of having used webinar technology or email marketing platforms would be advantageous, as would a basic working knowledge of social media and websites. InterAction, Zoom and Vuture are our key platforms.
