Due to the ongoing success of the firm, we are looking for a customer service focused administrative professional to join our Legal Support team as a Legal Support Assistant. Based full-time in our Manchester office, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality support to our lawyers, PAs, and senior managers across the firm. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to the day-to-day efficiencies of our fee-earning groups with a clear training programme and opportunities for progression.
We have Legal Support teams based at each of our UK offices providing administrative support across a wide range of tasks to our Fee-earning Groups, their PAs and other Senior Managers across the firm. We have a dedicated Legal Support training programme with step-graded promotions. Other internal career progression opportunities are also possible, following an acceptable time working successfully within the team.
You will be fully office-based, working alongside our Secretarial and Office Services teams, providing an exceptional internal customer-focused service. Taking ownership of tasks, demonstrating a proactive, problem-solving approach and understanding the importance of providing a quality customer service experience, are essential skills for this role as you will be dealing with a high volume of varying tasks across our group practice areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Comprehensive hard copy document support including printing, scanning, copying, pagination and binding
- Digital site support - uploading to HighQ, downloading using ShareFile, transferring files etc.
- PDF conversions and extractions, comparisons and redactions
- Mail and courier co-ordination
- Booking travel including timetable/venue research
- Processing expenses and preparing WIP reports
- Managing your tasks via our workflow tool to ensure strict SLAs and deadlines are met
