Our Public Law and Procurement Disputes team is recognised for combining market‑leading public law expertise with top‑tier procurement litigation capability. We support clients across the full procurement lifecycle, from strategic planning and risk management through to complex, high‑profile disputes. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Managing Associate or Legal Director to join our collaborative and dynamic team, advising on cutting‑edge matters across sectors including healthcare, defence, transport, technology, infrastructure, and energy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Advise clients on a broad range of public law and procurement matters, including judicial reviews and procurement challenges.
  • Lead complex and time‑sensitive disputes, managing cases, coordinating teams, and overseeing delivery against court and client deadlines.
  • Provide commercially focused, strategic advice to both contracting authorities and bidders across the procurement lifecycle.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships while supporting wider business development initiatives across the practice.
  • Collaborate closely with disputes, public law, procurement, innovation, and sector specialist teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior lawyers, contributing to a collaborative and high‑performing team culture.
  • Drive innovation in legal service delivery, including the effective use of legal technology and AI tools.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 6+ PQE for Managing Associate level or 8+ PQE for Legal Director level, gained within private practice.
  • Strong experience managing both public procurement and judicial review matters.
  • Proven ability to lead complex disputes and deliver commercially grounded legal advice.
  • Excellent client relationship and business development skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and strategic approach to problem‑solving.
