We are expanding our established internal focused Procurement team and looking for an experienced commercial contracts lawyer to help drive our in-house procurement service forward. As part of a dynamic, centralised team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm’s operations and strategic growth, working closely with commercial colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
What You’ll Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts of varying value and complexity.
- Collaborate with procurement teams and stakeholders to secure favourable contract terms and ensure compliance.
- Advise on data privacy issues, including data processing agreements and cross-border transfers.
- Support the development of commercial colleagues within the procurement team.
- Identify and implement improvements to contracting processes and policies.
- Work with the Office of General Counsel and Information Security teams on due diligence and compliance.
- Provide proactive legal support to enable informed decision-making and effective risk management.
Who We’re Looking For
- UK qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE and significant in-house experience (ideally in procurement or commercial roles).
- Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including technology and procurement agreements.
- Strong understanding of commercial law, data protection, and risk management.
- Ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
