The Team
This role is in our Human Resources Team which is spread across our London, Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh offices and supports the business globally. Alongside Leaning and Development, the HR Team is made up of Early Careers, Reward, Resourcing, HR Operations HR Business Partnering and the CSR and Diversity team.

Whatrole will you play at AG?
The Learning and Development Apprentice will support the Learning and Development team by performing a variety of tasks including administration, programme event coordination, digital design, and team support. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, highly organised, and passionate about helping others develop their skills and knowledge alongside studying the CIPD L3 Learning and Development.
What is the scope of the role?
- Digital Design: Work with Senior Advisors to create, design and implement digital content, including videos, podcasts, vodcasts, e-learning modules, and other materials.
- Administration: Use the learning management system and other digital and Microsoft platforms to perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining learning records, uploading and sharing learning content and learning systems administration.
- Programme Event Coordination: Help plan, organise, and execute training programmes and events. This includes coordinating logistics, preparing materials and slides, and ensuring smooth operation during events.
- Learning Design: Learn the life cycle of a learning engagement and support the Senior Advisors in the team to develop, deliver and measure effective solutions.
- Marketing and Communications: Use a variety of channels to engage and inform employees about the learning opportunities available to them.
- Team Support: Provide general support to the Learning and Development team, including assisting with special projects, research, and other tasks as needed.
What experience and attributeswill you need to have to be successful in the role?
- An interest in AI and content creation
- An interest in learning to use digital design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Proficient with using IT equipment and Microsoft programmes
- Strong organisational and time management skills, enjoying working in a busy and varied role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels
- Proactive and positive attitude to problem-solving and taking on new challenges
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills independently as well as part of a team

Education
- 3 A-levels or equivalent qualifications as well as 5 GCSEs at grades 4 and above (including English and Maths)
- Commitment to completing an apprenticeship programme in L&D (L3 CIPD)
- Interest in motivating people, learning and development, human resources, or related fields
- Previous experience in events or administration is a plus but not a requirement
