The Team Leader provides comprehensive operational support and contributes to the strategic growth of the Real Estate sub-team. You will manage a defined group of Paralegals or Apprentices aligned to one of the Firm's clients or practice groups.
- Work Allocation & Operational Management
- Allocate resources to client instructions and manage team capacity
- Oversee efficient delivery and quality of work, including training and development
- Maintain quality assurance processes
- Scope and manage significant fee earning projects
- Report on daily and weekly team operations
- Line Management
- Lead a team of Apprentices, Paralegals, and Senior Paralegals
- Manage individual and team development plans
- Coach, motivate, and provide regular feedback
- Work with the Leadership Team on performance management and resourcing
- Team Growth
- Develop aligned groups and promote new business opportunities
- Engage with fee earners and partners
- Contribute to the development of the sub-team and wider TST
- Analyse and improve ways of working
Who We're Looking For: Applicants must have experience in Real Estate legal work or supervision/people management. Understanding of Land Registry and SDLT processes is desirable, with training provided as needed. Strong communication, team management, and multitasking skills are essential.
