The Team Leader provides comprehensive operational support and contributes to the strategic growth of the Real Estate sub-team. You will manage a defined group of Paralegals or Apprentices aligned to one of the Firms clients or practice groups.

Work Allocation & Operational Management

  • Allocate resources to client instructions and manage team capacity
  • Oversee efficient delivery and quality of work, including training and development
  • Maintain quality assurance processes
  • Scope and manage significant fee earning projects
  • Report on daily and weekly team operations

Line Management

  • Lead a team of Apprentices, Paralegals, and Senior Paralegals
  • Manage individual and team development plans
  • Coach, motivate, and provide regular feedback
  • Work with the Leadership Team on performance management and resourcing

Team Growth

  • Develop aligned groups and promote new business opportunities
  • Engage with fee earners and partners
  • Contribute to the development of the sub-team and wider TST
  • Analyse and improve ways of working

Required profile

Applicants must have experience in Real Estate legal work or supervision/people management. Understanding of Land Registry and SDLT processes is desirable, with training provided as needed.
