The Real Estate sub-team is structured in an aligned model and each line manager has responsibility for a defined group of Paralegals or Apprentices aligned to one of the Firm\’s clients or practice groups within the Real Estate Group.The Assistant Team Leader will also carry out some fee earning work. The Assistant Team Leader will have a focus on the Real Estate sub-team but will also have some wider responsibilities within the TST. This role is based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, with occasional travel to the other UK offices, as required.What You\’ll Do:Taking instructions from internal clients, ensuring requirements are understood and allocating appropriate resource within the Real Estate sub-team.Having responsibility for work allocation amongst, and the delivery of work by their aligned groupsLeading identified groups of Legal Apprentices, Paralegals and Senior ParalegalsProviding coaching and regular feedback, and carrying out regular check ins to develop, encourage and motivate those individuals.Responsibility for developing their aligned groups, including engaging with relevant fee earners and partners to promote the TST and proactively identifying and promoting new business opportunities.Working with Lawyers, Paralegals and Apprentices to identify work for the sub-team and aligned groups.Who We\’re Looking For:Experience of Real Estate legal work is desirable but not essential.
