We are currently supporting one of AG\'s clients with their recruitment for an Interim Senior Legal Counsel with a strong background in real estate development. The role is set to start in August 2025 and will be for a minimum of 6 months.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-growing commercial and residential real estate development and investment business. You will be part of a dynamic legal team on an initial 6-month contract. The role is varied, reporting into the General Counsel, and will involve close collaboration with the Property, Legal, and wider operational teams on a range of real estate and strategic matters. It will also include working with external law firms to oversee transactions, share standard procedures, and ensure the timely provision of legal advice.

This is an exciting predominantly remote role, requiring occasional travel to the North of England (Leeds or Sheffield), with the remaining days being remote.

  • Significant real estate experience (ideally a mix of commercial and residential), including development, site assembly, due diligence, lettings, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Understanding of planning and construction (advantageous).
  • Secondment or in-house experience (advantageous).

  • Ability to provide commercially minded legal advice.
  • Organised, self-sufficient, and a good team player.
  • 10+ years PQE (as a guide only).
