- A seasoned Data Privacy Lawyer or Professional/Information Rights Specialist with extensive knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Environmental Information Regulations (EIR).
- Proven experience in handling FOIA and EIR requests, with a strong understanding of the relevant legal frameworks.
- Ability to provide expert advice on public data information rights, particularly in relation to technical, environmental, and infrastructure-related information.
- Experience in developing strategies to manage the reputational and political considerations associated with disclosures.
- Experience advising on best practices for data privacy and public information rights compliance.
- Experience in managing and responding to ICO investigations, including developing response strategies and liaising effectively with the Information Commissioner's Office.
- Background in data privacy law, with a preference for candidates who have worked within the energy sector, public sector, or similar industries.
