A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Night Traffic Operator to join an established and highly reputable Container Haulier in Felixstowe. The company has grown steadily since their inception 20 years ago and is now looking for a proven Night Traffic Operator to join their growing and successful team.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8pm – 6am
Duties Include:
- Making changes to traffic sheets where appropriate
- Ensuring fleet is running as profitably as possible
- Reporting directly to Operations Manager
- Liaising with drivers and customers where appropriate
- Making procedural changes where appropriate
- Adhering to industry legislation (ATD etc.)
Skills Required:
- A significant amount of Container haulage experience
- A proven track record in managing and improving a team of operators
- Good team player
- Excellent management skills
- Effective communicator
