A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Traffic Operator to join a growing and highly reputable Container Haulier in Felixstowe. The company has grown steadily since their inception 10 years ago and is now looking for a proven Traffic Operator to join their successful team.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Plus Car and Bonuses (£6 – £8k pa.)
Shift Pattern: 7am – 4pm OR 8am to finish
Duties Include:
- Making changes to traffic sheets where appropriate
- Ensuring fleet is running as profitably as possible
- Reporting directly to Operations Manager
- Liaising with drivers and customers where appropriate
- Making procedural changes where appropriate
- Adhering to industry legislation (ATD etc.)
Skills Required:
- A significant amount of Container haulage experience
- A proven track record in managing and improving a team of operators
- Good team player
- Excellent Management skills
- Effective communicator
