An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Advisor / Parts Supervisor to join a well-established vehicle dealership, specialising in the sales, servicing and maintenance of commercial vehicles. As an experienced Parts Advisor / Parts Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operation of the Parts Department, ensuring efficient stock management, excellent customer service and strong team performance. This role offers a salary up to £37,580 and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and supporting the Parts team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Working closely with the Site Manager to improve operational performance.
  • Managing the day-to-day running of the Parts Department.
  • Overseeing the sourcing, ordering and supply of parts in line with manufacturer and company procedures.
  • Monitoring Vehicle Off Road (VOR) orders and reducing delays where possible.
  • Managing stock receipts, returns, movements and associated documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels through effective inventory control.
  • Coaching and developing the Parts team to maintain high standards.
  • Maintaining housekeeping, merchandising and Health & Safety standards.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Parts Supervisor, Parts Manager, Senior Parts Advisor, Parts Specialist, Parts Coordinator, Parts Adviser, Parts Controller, Parts Consultant, Inventory Controller, Stock Controller or in a similar role.
  • Experience working within the automotive industry.
  • Background in leading, mentoring or supporting a team.
  • Understanding of parts ordering, stock control and inventory management.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good IT and admin skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
