Responsibilities
- Manage residential properties throughout the tenancy process
- Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure timely resolution
- Handle tenancy-related disputes and complex property matters
- Manage HMO properties and licensing obligations
- Conduct property inspections and arrange follow-up actions
- Liaise with contractors and service providers for quality workmanship
- Maintain accurate property records and compliance information
Key requirements
- Previous experience as Property Manager, Portfolio Manager, Block Manager, Lettings Property Manager, Residential Property Manager, Estate Manager or similar
- Minimum 5 years in residential property management
- ARLA Propertymark or Letwell qualification
- Experience managing HMO properties and mentoring colleagues
- Experience with property management systems
- Strong knowledge of Scottish lettings legislation and compliance
- Experience handling disputes and tenancy issues
- Relationship building with landlords and tenants
- Coaching or mentoring colleagues
- Strong communication and conflict resolution
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
