An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join a well-established independent estate agency with a strong presence in the local residential property market.

As a Sales Manager, you will report to the Head of Operations, overseeing the residential sales team while managing your own portfolio of property transactions from instruction through to completion.

This is an office-based, full-time role offering a competitive basic salary plus commission, with OTE of £50,000+.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage the teams active sales pipeline, identifying potential delays and taking action to keep transactions progressing.
  • Carry out regular pipeline reviews and individual meetings to monitor performance and address issues.
  • Oversee sales progression, including liaising with solicitors, managing property chains and reducing fall-throughs.
  • Set team activity expectations and monitor delivery against agreed targets.
  • Provide updates on pipeline activity and team performance to senior management.
  • Assist with complex negotiations, challenging transactions and client issues where required.
  • Support, coach and develop the sales team, helping individuals improve their performance and knowledge.
  • Ensure CRM records and sales information are kept accurate and up to date.
  • Promote a professional and customer-focused approach across the sales function.
  • Manage your own portfolio of residential sales alongside your leadership responsibilities.
  • Carry out property viewings and negotiate offers with clients and buyers.
  • Progress transactions through to exchange and completion.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Sales Manager, Senior Estate Agent, Senior Sales Negotiator, Property Sales Manager, Estate Agency Branch Manager, Senior Property Negotiator, Assistant Sales Manager, Sales Team Leader or in asimilar role.
  • Strong residential sales experience within an estate agency environment.
  • Background in leading, managing or mentoring a sales team, or a senior negotiator ready to progress into management.
  • Good Knowledge of the residential sales journey from instruction through to completion.
  • Proven ability to manage sales progression, property chains and transaction issues.
  • Confident leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop others.
  • Comfortable using property portals, CRM systems and standard office software.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of the North London property market.
  • NAEA qualification.

Shift: 09:00-18:00
