An opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Manager to join a well-established childcare provider with multiple nurseries supporting early years education from birth to school age. As a Nursery Manager, you will oversee nursery operations, safeguarding, and team development to deliver outstanding early years provision, working closely with senior leadership to ensure high-quality day-to-day running of the setting. This full-time role offers a salary range of £39,250 - £45,850 and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust safeguarding practices are embedded across the setting.
  • Manage child protection concerns, records, referrals, and liaison with external agencies.
  • Embed a strong safeguarding culture across the team, ensuring ongoing awareness and training.
  • Oversee health and safety standards, including risk assessments, inspections, and incident reporting.
  • Support delivery of high-quality early years education aligned with statutory frameworks and best practice.
  • Ensure engaging, age-appropriate learning environments that support children's development.
  • Support occupancy planning, enquiries, and overall nursery place management.
  • Contribute to financial processes including fee administration and budget awareness.
