An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Manager with 7 years electrical experience and 3 years in contract/project management to join a well-established construction firm. This full-time, permanent role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £60,000 – £65,000.

As an Electrical Manager, you will oversee electrical operations, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. You will also act as the Qualifying Supervisor, completing a NICEIC Assessment and contributing to the electrical division.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Manage financial performance, reporting, and contract administration from pre-start to completion.
  2. Supervise site operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, health & safety laws, and company policies.
  3. Plan, allocate, and organise labour, subcontractors, and resources to meet project requirements.
  4. Lead client and internal meetings, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
  5. Oversee compliance, including RAMS, toolbox talks, inspections, and NICEIC assessments.
  6. Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, overseeing coordination from design to client handover.

What we are looking for:

  1. Previously worked as an Electrical Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, Electrical Project Manager, Qualifying Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor or in a similar role.
  2. At least 7 years electrical experience with 3 years in contract/project management.
  3. Strong fault-finding and testing experience.
  4. Background in maintenance, social housing, domestic, and commercial electrical work, including fire alarms and emergency lighting.
  5. City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  6. Inspection & Testing 2391/2 or equivalent certification.
  7. Strong operational and commercial knowledge.
  8. Full UK driving licence.
