An opportunity has arisen for a Transport Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established company, providing specialist repair and maintenance services within the transport refrigeration and vehicle air conditioning sector.
As a Transport Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be carrying out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on vehicle refrigeration and air conditioning systems. You will be operating remotely, providing services throughout the Midlands.
This full-time role offers a salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 and benefits, including:
- Managing van stock to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Completing daily safety checks on the company vehicle.
- Accurately completing paperwork and digital job records for invoicing and compliance.
- Supporting apprentices or trainee engineers when required.
- Maintaining excellent customer service and always representing the company professionally.
Experience in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering is required, along with F-Gas certification and a C&G qualification or equivalent in an Engineering discipline. IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and handheld PDA systems, is also necessary, as well as strong customer service and communication skills.
