An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Consultant / Sales Advisor / Designer to join a well-established supplier of premium tiles, bathrooms, flooring and interior products, offering expert design advice and high-quality solutions for both renovation and new-build projects. As a Sales Consultant / Sales Advisor / Designer, you will be creating bespoke bathroom designs, advising customers on suitable products, and delivering an excellent showroom experience from initial enquiry through to final design. This office-based role offers a minimum salary of £12.71 per hour and benefits. Trainee level candidates will also be considered.
You will be responsible for:
- Meeting with customers to understand their design preferences, practical requirements and budget.
- Producing bathroom designs using design software (training provided if required).
- Presenting design proposals and explaining layouts, materials and product choices.
- Advising customers on bathroom furniture, fixtures, fittings, tiles and accessories.
- Identifying opportunities to recommend complementary products where appropriate.
- Maintaining an attractive, organised and welcoming showroom.
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors and colleagues to ensure projects progress smoothly.
- Carrying out measurements, calculations and cost estimates where required.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Sales Consultant, Sales Advisor, Sales Executive, CAD Designer, Interior Designer, Trade Sales Executive, Construction Sales Executive, Showroom Sales Executive, Showroom Sales Consultant, Retail Sales Consultant, Bathroom Sales Executive, Bathroom Designer, Design Consultant or in a similar role.
- Background in showroom sales or consultative sales.
- Prior experience using Virtual Worlds software (advantageous).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good numerical skills for measurements, calculations and pricing.
