£35,000 - £45,000 basic + Uncapped Commission | £100,000+ Earning Potential | Monday-Friday | No Weekends | All leads are provided | No cold calling required | Competitive Benefits An opportunity has arisen for a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker to join a specialist mortgage brokerage, providing tailored mortgage solutions for clients with a range of lending requirements, including complex and specialist cases.
As a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker, you will work alongside senior brokers, developing your expertise in assessing client requirements, reviewing affordability and supporting mortgage applications through to completion.
Please note: Candidates with strong technical mortgage advice experience will also be considered if they do not have previous experience handling adverse or complex mortgage cases.
However, candidates whose experience is limited to standard estate agency mortgage advice will not meet the requirements of this role.
You will be responsible for
- Assessing mortgage applications involving complex or adverse financial circumstances.
- Reviewing clients’ income, expenditure and credit information.
- Preparing mortgage recommendations and supporting documentation for lender submission.
- Carrying out affordability calculations and reviewing suitable lending options.
- Keeping accurate records of client information and application progress.
- Working within relevant mortgage industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure applications progress smoothly and clients receive appropriate support. What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Mortgage Advisor, Mortgage Broker, Mortgage Adviser, Mortgage Consultant, Mortgage Specialist or in a similar role.
- Approx. 2 years’ experience working in mortgage advice.
- Experience of handling adverse / complex mortgage cases is highly preferable.
- Ce Map / MAQ mortgage qualification held for at least 12 months
- An interest in developing knowledge within specialist mortgage lending.
- Good numerical ability to assess income, expenditure and mortgage affordability. What's on offer:
