Building Envelope Designer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Envelope Designer with current experience working in the industry to join a well-established construction firm. This role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £45,000 – £55,000.

As a Building Envelope Designer , you will be responsible for producing precise, detailed layout drawings for roofing, cladding, and rainscreen systems.

You will be responsible for:

• Compiling comprehensive material schedules.
• Leading projects from design through to construction, collaborating closely with architects and contractors.
• Supervising junior team members when taking the lead on larger projects.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Building Envelope Designer, Cladding Designer, Flooring Designer, Facade Designer or in a similar role.
• Current experience working in the construction industry.
• Experience in AutoCAD.
• Skilled in building envelope design (roofing, cladding, rainscreen).
• Knowledge of BIM and ISO19650 standards would be beneficial.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
