Accounts Manager (Accountancy Practice) - £40,000 - £65,000 A Year

Job Description About the Role \ N Our Client is seeking anexperienced Senior Accounts Manage r to manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients. This is a senior practice role with responsibility for client relationships, technical review, team management, workflow coordination, corporation tax compliance and billing. The successful candidate will report directly to the Partners and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice. Our Client an Accountancy Firm is a partner-led firm providing audit, tax, transaction and advisory services to entrepreneurial and owner-managed businesses. \ N Key Responsibilities \ N \n Manage a portfolio of clients and act as the main point of contact. \ N Review statutory accounts and corporation tax returns. \ N Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members. \ N Coordinate workflow andensure timely delivery of assignments. \ N Resolve technical accounting and tax matters. \ N Monitor WIP, recoverability and oversee billing. \ N Support Partners in maintaining excellent client service standards. \ N \n CandidateProfile \ N \n ACA or ACCA qualified. \ N Strong UK practice background. \ N Proven management experience, including staff supervision and workflow management. \ N Experience reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations. \ N Commercially minded with strong client-facing skills. \ N Excellent organisational and communication skills. \ N \n Important \ N \n Audit experienceis not required. \ N This is an accounts andtax focused role. \ N Suitable for an experienced Manager seeking a senior role or an existing Senior Manager looking for greater responsibility and direct Partner exposure. \ N \n
