An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager to join a specialist children's residential care provider supporting young people with SEMH needs through a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment.

As a Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the home, leading the team and progressing towards a Registered Manager position.

This full-time role offers a salary range of £18 - £21 per hour plus £60 per sleep-in and benefits. They will consider candidates on a Permanent, Temp-to-Perm, or Temporary basis.

You will also have the opportunity to progress towards becoming a Registered Manager.

What we are looking for

  • Previously worked as a Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Childcare Manager, Assistant Home Manager, Senior Residential Support Worker, Home Manager or in a similar role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in children's residential care.
  • Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (NVQ/QCF or equivalent).
  • Ideally working towards or holding a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Shift

  • 2 days on / 4 days off rota
  • Includes 2 sleep-ins per working cycle
  • Weekend and bank holiday availability required
