We are looking for a commercially minded and ambitious Qualified Accountant to support acquisition activity, business development, and future operational growth within the UK accountancy sector.
The Role:
You will play a key role in identifying and evaluating UK accountancy practices for acquisition, supporting due diligence processes, stakeholder engagement, and post-acquisition integration. This is a highly varied opportunity combining:
- Practice acquisition support
- Financial & operational due diligence
- Business development
- Client engagement
- Market research & strategy
- Stakeholder & advisor coordination
- Transition & integration support
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying suitable accountancy firms for acquisition
- Liaising with brokers, accountants, lawyers & advisors
- Reviewing financial statements, tax records & client portfolios
- Assisting with acquisition proposals and negotiations
- Supporting post-acquisition operational integration
- Helping expand UK accountancy services and client base
About You:
- ACCA / ICAEW qualified (or equivalent)
- 2β3 yearsβ experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Interested in acquisitions, growth strategy, and business development
