An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Early Years Manager / Head of Early Years to join a well-established childcare provider with multiple nursery settings. This is a senior leadership position working alongside the Nursery Manager, taking responsibility for educational standards, EYFS delivery, safeguarding, curriculum development and team development.

The Role

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the setting
  • Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Monitor children's progress, teaching, learning and assessment
  • Lead curriculum development across the setting
  • Act as SENCO, supporting inclusive practice and working with families and external professionals
  • Build strong relationships with parents and families
  • Support recruitment, induction, performance management and staff development
  • Help maintain consistently high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance

About You

  • Level 6, Level 7 or above Early Years qualification – essential
  • At least 2 years' leadership experience within an Early Years setting
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
  • Experience leading teaching, learning and curriculum development
  • Strong people-management and staff-development skills
  • Experience working collaboratively with children, families and external agencies
  • Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS
  • Right to work in the UK
