We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial law firm known for providing practical, client-focused legal advice to both businesses and private clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a friendly and supportive Property team. Candidates with experience in other areas of law will also be considered, provided they have relevant property experience.
The Role
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to Property fee earners, helping ensure the smooth running of matters while delivering an excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing full secretarial support to Property fee earners
- Audio typing using digital dictation
- Preparing, formatting and managing legal documents and correspondence
- Updating and maintaining case management systems
- General administration including filing, scanning and photocopying
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, the Land Registry and other solicitors
- Providing occasional reception cover when required
- Prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines in a busy environment
About You
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Conveyancing Secretary, Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, Property Secretary, Property Legal Secretary or similar
- Experience supporting either Commercial Property or Residential Conveyancing matters
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
