Security Clearance: Active DV Essential
We're recruiting for a Network Engineer to join an established organisation working on critical infrastructure and secure enterprise networking projects.
This opportunity is open to engineers at different stages of their careers, from those developing their networking expertise through to experienced professionals looking to take on greater technical responsibility.
You'll work with modern networking technologies across routing, switching, network security, virtualisation, automation and cloud-connected environments.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing, implementing and maintaining LAN, WAN and data centre networks.
- Configuring and supporting switches, routers, firewalls and VPNs.
- Troubleshooting network issues and improving performance.
- Supporting network upgrades, migrations and infrastructure projects.
- Working alongside infrastructure, security and platform engineering teams.
- Contributing to network automation and security improvements.
What we're looking for:
- Experience working within enterprise network environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS and DHCP.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE or Fortinet.
- Understanding of network security and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VMware, AWS, Azure, Python or Ansible would be advantageous.
IMPORTANT: Candidates must already hold valid Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
