An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Early Years Manager / Head of Early Years to join a well-established childcare provider with multiple nursery settings. This is a senior leadership position working alongside the Nursery Manager, taking responsibility for educational standards, EYFS delivery, safeguarding, curriculum development and team development.
The Role
- Lead the delivery of high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the setting
- Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Monitor children's progress, teaching, learning and assessment
- Lead curriculum development across the setting
- Act as SENCO, supporting inclusive practice and working with families and external professionals
- Build strong relationships with parents and families
- Support recruitment, induction, performance management and staff development
- Help maintain consistently high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance
About You
- Level 6, Level 7 or above Early Years qualification β essential
- At least 2 years' leadership experience within an Early Years setting
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
- Experience leading teaching, learning and curriculum development
- Strong people-management and staff-development skills
- Experience working collaboratively with children, families and external agencies
- Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS
- Right to work in the UK
