Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Manager with supervisory experience to join a well-established childcare nursery. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a starting salary of £34,000.

As a Nursery Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a stimulating, safe, and inclusive setting for children while leading a passionate team of childcare professionals.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with staff recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with parents.
  • Keeping accurate and well-organised records of office files and paperwork.
  • Upholding the highest standards of care at all times.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Childcare Manager, EYFS Manager, Early Years Manager or in a similar role.
  • Possess PQE and supervisory experience.
  • Experience in financial management, including budgeting and invoicing.
  • Background working in a larger childcare setting and managing teams.
  • Minimum qualification of NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (BA(Hons) or EYPS would be beneficial).
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and early years education.
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards and health & safety legislation within an early year setting.
