An opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician with 2 years' experience to join a well-established car dealership with a strong reputation for customer service and has received multiple industry awards for excellence. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs across a range of vehicles in a busy and professional workshop environment. This full-time role offers a salary range of £25,000 – £45,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
- Performing electronic visual health checks (eVHC)
- Completing repair work to industry and manufacturer standards
- Ensuring accurate and thorough documentation for all jobs
- Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workspace
- Staying up to date with the latest diagnostic and repair techniques through ongoing training
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Car Mechanic, Car Technician, Diagnostic Technician or in a similar role
- At least 2 years of experience
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or an equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Ideally have experience working in a dealership
- EV qualification is advantageous (training can be provided)
- Valid UK driving licence
