An opportunity is available for an Automated Gate Engineer to join a company providing automated gate and entry system services. This permanent role offers £40,000–£42,000 per annum , depending on experience.
The role involves diagnosing faults, attending breakdowns, carrying out repairs and upgrades, and undertaking occasional routine servicing. You will also fit replacement components and safety equipment on existing systems.
Previous experience in gate automation is essential, along with a reliable and professional approach to work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on automated gates and entry systems.
- Attend breakdowns and identify faults with equipment.
- Carry out retrofit work and upgrades to existing systems.
- Undertake occasional routine servicing.
- Work on barriers, intercoms and GSM systems.
- Fit replacement parts, safety edges and associated equipment.
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in gate automation.
- Previous industry experience is essential.
- A driving licence is required.
- A reliable, punctual and trustworthy approach to work.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
