Overview
Full‑time permanent role offering a salary of circa £40,000 (DOE) and benefits. The Commercial Property Manager / Head of Property will oversee a commercial property portfolio, lead a small team, and ensure smooth delivery of property management services while maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small property management team to meet operational targets and objectives.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of a commercial property portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, owners, and stakeholders.
- Attend committee and annual meetings to provide updates and address property matters.
- Assist with preparation of service charge budgets for managed properties.
- Use property management software (ideally TRAMPS) to maintain records, process payments, and generate reports.
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure maintenance standards and compliance.
- Maintain accurate property, lease, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Previously worked as a Head of Property Management, Commercial Property Manager, Senior Property Manager, Head of Commercial Property Management, Property Manager, Portfolio Manager, Estate Manager, Block Manager, Head of Property or in a similar role.
- Previous experience in a commercial property management position.
- Experience leading or supervising a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Experience using property management software such as TRAMPS is advantageous.
- Professional approach when dealing with clients, landlords, tenants and stakeholders.
