An opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager & Lead Gymnastics Coach to join an established organisation delivering gymnastics programmes for children and young people.
As a Site Manager & Lead Gymnastics Coach, you will take on a key leadership role combining hands‑on coaching, team supervision, site operations and athlete development, ensuring sessions are delivered effectively while maintaining high standards across the site.

They will consider candidates currently working in another sector, provided they have at least 2 years' previous gymnastics coaching experience.
You will be responsible for
- Planning structured sessions that encourage technical development and progression.
- Providing direction, support and feedback to the coaching team.
- Allocating coaches to classes and ensuring appropriate staffing arrangements.
- Maintaining consistent coaching standards across sessions.
- Monitoring participant development and adapting coaching where appropriate.
- Taking responsibility for safeguarding, health and safety and safe working practices.
- Checking that equipment and facilities are safe, properly maintained and suitably stored.
- Managing gym set‑up and pack‑down, ensuring the site is organised and ready for use.
- Acting as a senior contact for parents and carers, handling queries and concerns professionally.
- Supporting class administration, registers and timetables.
- Keeping senior management informed of staffing, athlete, equipment and operational matters.
- Identifying practical improvements to the coaching programme, customer experience and site performance.
What we are looking for
- Previously worked as a Gymnastics Coach, Gymnastics Instructor, Gymnastics teacher, Gymnastics Activity Instructor, Assistant Gymnastics Coach or in a similar role.
- Approx. 2 years' previous gymnastics coaching experience.
- Background in leading a coaching team or taking responsibility for a gymnastics programme, class or facility.
- Strong team leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, coaching approaches, athlete development and safe practice.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety within a childrens sports environment.
- Ability to recognise individual athlete needs and adapt coaching accordingly.
- Genuine passion for gymnastics and developing both athletes and fellow coaches.
