We are recruiting for a Trainee Fire Systems Tester / Technician to join a field-based life safety team covering customer sites across London and the Home Counties. Full training will be provided, so previous fire industry experience is not required.
You will be supported by an experienced engineering team while developing your knowledge of fire safety systems and testing procedures. This full-time role offers a salary range of £22,000 - £27,000 and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine testing of fire, AOV and emergency lighting systems.
- Record testing results and job information accurately using a PDA.
- Provide professional customer service both on site and by telephone.
- Maintain equipment and van stock while working safely and efficiently.
- Work towards operational KPIs and support colleagues as required.
- Perform other duties as required as part of the role.
